Bob Bonagura says...

"This was a superb conference, a lot to be proud of!
One of the Sunday speakers stole my line, however when he said 'WOW'.   Every speaker and each presentation evoked that response from me without exception.  The topics were not only timely but thoughtful.  For instance, I thought tying in the Seabees to Katrina Relief was shear Genius."

Bob and Noreen Bonagura:

Tom Gelsdorf says...
"This was a fabulous affair in my opinion.  The reports and presentations were amazing, especially the one about brain research.  The Seabees presentation was amazing as well.  The Group Study Exchange presentation was heartwarming.  All in all, It was very informative and a lot of fun!"

Joe Frey says...
"The agenda was wonderful, the speakers excellent.  The conference was well organized and well run.  The only downside was that it was too far away."

Joe and Anita Frey on the bus:

Lisa Mueller says...

"Having joined the Mineola-Garden City Rotary Club only 7 months ago, I did not know what to expect from this conference.  But, my goal was to experience all things 'Rotary' and that I did!  The bus ride was fun and entertaining, the programs top notch, and the fellowship really felt like family!  I had many questions about procedures, rules, programs, services, and Rotary International (as it related to the district, the clubs and the individual member).  Cornell Frank, Aldo Frustaci, and Sharon Imes helped to get all of my questions answered."

Lisa Mueller on the bus and at the Pier:

PDG Kathy Gibson says...
"The district conference was enjoyed by all.  It was well organized and informative and the entertainment was fun.  The city of Montreal was an absolute treat with something for everyone.  Participants all agreed that the Commanding Officer of the Navy Seabees and Dr. Phil DeFino gave outstanding presentations and the fellowship was a large part of the success.  As always, Rotary looks forward to another year of changing the world, one life at a time.  I don't know how others traveled, but the bus ride was a pure gourmet trip filled with fun and fellowship.  Kim, Rudy, and Vance provided lots of great snacks and drinks and NAPKINS!"

Amanda Gibson says...
"20 Kilometers of indoor underground mall plus a pool, jacuzzi, and fitness center.  How can you go wrong?"
